Hi everyone. I have created a survey that I would love as many people to do as possible. It is designed for people who trained in some kind of performance (i.e acting/singing/dancing). I would also love any comments you might have on the questions I asked or the way they were phrased.
I used Survey Monkey and it is really simple once you get the hang of it. As a free user you are only allowed to ask ten question which at first annoyed me but which actually meant I had to really think about what I wanted to ask and what would be beneficial to my research.

ReplyDeleteJust did your survey... I was honest as I know you and feel comfortable with you knowing my views on the questions but I have an idea for you. The first question what is your name? I think some people will refrain from being 100% honest as they won't feel comfortable knowing that you know who you are reading about. Maybe having an option 'rather not say' would get round that. Just a thought :)
You have made me question my questions now - which is interesting. These surveys really make you have a look at yourself!

ReplyDeleteI agree with Carly. I filled out my questionnaire honestly because I really enjoyed my time at college but if I hadn't I think I may be inclined to lie because I stated my name. But other than that I thought it was really good!

Me again! ...i managed to get on to your survey again from another computer but then once on there i realised i did fill in all 3 pages before! Did it only show that i had dont the first page, beacause i definatly fille dout all the questions??

Hi everyone. Thank you. Cerys, thanks for filling it in again. It only gave me your first page of answers but I have them all now. Also thanks for your comments Carly and everyone else. I totally take your comments about the names on board and I absolutely agree. When I do my proper questionnaire I won't ask that question. The only reason I asked it here was so I could get specific feedback from the people on the course. Thanks again guys.

Personally I have no problem sharing my name and honest opinions and I found it interesting you would ask how I rated the importance of things to gage the successfulness of it. This really made me think in-depth before answering. Now I wonder if my answers and there perceptions would be slightly different if I could explain my reasoning. Great survey though hope you get enough opinions yo be of use to your inquiry.

ReplyDeleteI have just completed your survey. I thought it was brilliant. You managed to get a lot of information out of that 10 question limit. I liked the fact that your questions required thought and honesty from those completing them. It will be interesting to hear how you analyse the data!
